Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd consolidated sales up 25.83% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit jumped 86.69% As on : 04-Aug-26  15:37

Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd share price gained 3.61% to Rs 1495.45 after the company's net profit surged by 86.69% to Rs 192.59 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 25.83% to Rs 960.45 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Ferro & Silica Manganese industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 12207.24 crore, rallying 27.21%. It has marginally improved by 7.15% over last one week and eased lower by 0.08% in last one month while the market capitalization of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd has edged up by 11.05% and 3.19% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd stood at Rs 258.31 crore in Q2 FY26, jumping 105.48% year-on-year, and expanding by 89.92% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 268 crore, surging by 159.36% YoY and jumping 75.23% sequentially. Total expenses advancing by 12.97% to Rs 702.59 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 350.72 crore, witnessing a sharp rise of 25.49% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 82.27 crore, soaring 18.77% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations advanced 10.21% to Rs 2826.31 crore, while net profit rose by 11.97% to Rs 424.72 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 47136% to Rs 521.69 crore, and PBT inched up 7.76% to Rs 554.03 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 318.09 crore in FY26, as against Rs 585.35 crore in FY25. Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd rallied 107.13% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.94% during the same period.
